Buyer Information

How it works.
To bid on an item, you must first register to bid on our site, once directed to registration page; complete the necessary fields with your current information.

Once you have successfully completed registration, you will be issued a bidder number along with the password that you selected.

Now, you are ready to enter your bid and your maximum bid for each item on which you wish to bid. You don't have to enter a current bid if you place a maximum bid. We recommend placing only a maximum bid.

Who should I address with problems?
Problems with or questions about Internet bidding should be addressed to CONTACT@CRSAUCTIONS.COM.

What happens in the case of Internet problems?
Should an issue arise with the availability of our server that affects everyone's ability to bid, bidding will resume once the issues have been addressed. Information will be posted as soon as possible after any problems arise that will detail the resumption of bidding and the new closing time which will be determined.

Payments and removal of merchandise

All purchases must be paid following the auction. We accept cash, checks and Master Card and Visa. No refunds will be issued for merchandise left over 48 hours. We make no guarantees that we will not re-sell or discard merchandise left over 48 hours. This policy applies to Internet bidding as well if prior arrangements have not been made.

Winning bidder notification

Successful bidders will receive an e-mail message within 24 hours of the auction notifying you of your purchase. If you do not, please email Greg Breitfelder.

Shipping information

For items that can be easily boxed and shipped...
We ship to the continental US via UPS only. If you have purchased items at one of our auctions and it must be shipped to you, we would be happy to do so for the actual shipping costs plus a $10.00 handling fee per item with a $20.00 minimum handling fee. If you have won an item and would like to have it shipped just reply to the email invoice you receive with your request or send an email to Greg Breitfelder . We will send you a revised invoice with the updated shipping and handling charges within 5 business days of your request. The merchandise should be shipped within ten business days once payment has been received. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions in our packing or shipping of purchased lots or of other carriers or packers of purchased lots, whether or not recommended by us. Packing and handling of purchased lots is at the entire risk of the purchaser.

For items which require shipping through a freight carrier...
We will assist in meeting the carrier of your choice to pickup the item at the advertised auction location during the above advertised pickup times only. It is the bidders responsibility to make arrangements to have the items crated if necessary and prepared for freight pickup prior to the advertised payment and removal date. Please see the penalties section above to review the terms for failure to pickup or arrange for pickup of an item during the specified times.

In addition to the auction specific terms listed for each sale, the following terms will apply to all of our auctions.

As-is, where-is
All sales are final and, unless guarantees are specifically stated, as-is.

Legal courses of action
Internet bids are a contract and you are responsible for honoring them. Every legal remedy available will be used to insure the performance of winning bidders. Bidder accepts responsibility for and agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless each seller and their employees, governing body, officers, owners, affiliates, subsidiaries, directors, agents and representatives from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, liabilities, judgments, fees, costs and expenses including reasonable attorneys' fees and expenses related to, arising from or associated with buyer's, his agents or representatives, use of the site, including but not limited to personal injuries or property damage incurred on the sale premises or during removal and transport of any auction item, and arising out of, based upon, or resulting from any breach or violation by bidder of this site user agreement or any use by bidder of the site or as a result of a dispute with another bidder.

Limit of liability
In no event will our liability to a purchaser exceed the purchase price actually paid.

Bid rejection
Commercial Resale Solutions (CRS) reserves the right to reject any and all bids if they so choose.

Transference
No items will be released until full payment has be received. Merchandise becomes the full responsibility of buyer at the close of the auction, and buyer assumes all risk of loss and damage to property until removed from sale premises.

Credit card usage
If the terms of the auction are not followed, CRS reserves the right to charge the entire amount due to the credit card on file including any storage fees and penalties.

Sales tax
All sales are subject to appropriate state sales tax laws.

Bid retraction
Buyer must acknowledge all terms of the auction and agree not to retract the purchase offer. If you cannot satisfy the terms of the auction please do not bid.

Merchandise removal
Buyer shall be responsible for making arrangements for merchandise removal within two business days of the auction unless otherwise noted.
